My brother who is 32 has Aspergers. He was misdiagnosed for 17 years as bi polar. He is just now dealing with his true diagnosis. Are there any support groups in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area that he can attend. He truly needs to be around adults like him.

Maya, have you tried contacting or signing him with MHMR of Tarrant County? They have programs and listings of different groups in the area that might be what you are looking for. Sorry, I took so long with this response but get back at me if you need to speak with one of the social workers directly (my son’s social worker, Billy Belz). I can give you his number.
